for those of you who don't know, OAP is a BIG deal here in the theatre world. it is our UIL competion play. only twenty people out of thirty-seven got into it. this is the time of the year when all the theatre kids have thier breakdowns. this is the most stressful 2 months of the year and we all strive to make it in because it is such an amazing experince. our school hasn't made it past the first round in quite a few years. it is not that we are bad, we are just in probable the best zone in the state of texas so it takes a lot to get out.
yesterday was our first rehersal and we read the script. it is an adaptation that my teacher did himself and IT IS AMAZING!!! i cannot wait to preform it. my characters name is panope and i am the comic releaf in this tragic play.
mr. ayres used to be a judge for the one act plays so i really hope that helps us advance this year. i am supper excited and i know that even if we don't advance i am going to be very proud of this show. (we haven't even started blocking and i am already very happy with it)
well i guess that gives you all a little more insite into what i am doing.

I'm so excited for you. Do you know if there is anyone that can tape the play. I would love to see it. I really wish thtat I could be there in person. I love you so much, but GOD loves you so much more. He is so happy when he sees that you are happy. I can't wait to see the play. I will be praying for him to guide ya'll though this. Cara, Thanks for the clarification. Wow, what an honor to be selected! Kudos to you. I wish you could feel my excitement and I second Cale's request - if someone is able to tape your play. You will make a perfect Panope. You must share some of your best lines. When will this play take place? We would love to be there. Bunches of Hugs
